We here at Gypsy Lane are trying to do our part in helping the rescue horses at THE BALANCE POINT EQUESTRIAN LEARNING CENTER located on 40 acres of rolling pastureland near Bastrop TX .  They provide a safe haven for the holistic rehabilitation and adoption of abandoned horses.  They are dedicated to providing an enviroment where people can develop more fulfilling equine partnerships and a deeper understanding of the conditions required for horses to thrive in today's world.

The majority of rescue horses at this facility have never had a fulfilling partnership with a human.  After quarantine, they move the horses into a small herd enviroment with strong equine role models to emulate.  They evaluate their physical needs, behavioral issues and support their rehabilitaion with high quality feed, veterinary and farrier care.  When possible, holistic therapies such as massage, chiropractic treatments, acupuncture, herbal remedies and osteopathic adjustments are incorporated into the rehab program to promote the positive flow of energy and healing.

The head trainer and ranch manager, Rachel Steen, devotes a portion of her time each day to creating opportunities for the horses to have positive human interaction-untimately bringing students and horses together to form lasting parntnerships.

Proceeds from the sale of these cookies will be used to support the rescue horses at The Balance Point and to support other rescue efforts to protect America's domestic and wild horses from abuse, neglect and slaughter
